Objectives and Activities
• Our primary objective is the promotion of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ according to the doctrines and practices of the Church of England. We aim to demonstrate Christ’s love by showing our concern for our parishioners and those in the wider community, in a variety of ways.
• St Mary’s PCC has the specific responsibility of co-operating with the incumbent in promoting, within the ecclesiastical parish, the whole mission of the Church; liturgical, spiritual, educational, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.
• Since St Mary’s is the Borough Church of Harrow, the aspects mentioned above are extended beyond the parish boundary.
• The PCC is also responsible for the maintenance of a Grade 1 listed building and churchyard to a standard which provides a fitting ambience of reverence.
